Interest calculations

Debit balances: Interest on debit balances is calculated on your average daily balance for the month from the 22nd of each month to the 21st of the following month and will be posted to your account the first business day following the 21st of each month.

Credit balances: There is no interest paid on cash balances in any ScotiaMcLeod accounts.
